Find Help Against the New Coronavirus

If you haven't heard by now you should be aware that the new coronavirus has made its way to the United States. COVID-19 was first detected in Wuhan, China in late December 2019. But as of March 7, 2020 there are 164 known cases and 11 reported deaths in the U.S. from the virus according to the U.S. government's Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).


COVID-19 has no known vaccine. It can also be transmitted if appropriate precautions are not taken. This is why governments in the countries where it has been reported have taken extraordinary measures, such as massive quarantines, to contain it.

People prone to illness or who do not have the resources to keep themselves healthy may be very worried about contracting the new virus. Because it is new and the situation is evolving, U.S. federal, state, and local governments are still organizing against COVID-19.
